Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_add_inline_script() in /nas/content/s

    I have installed critical CSS and the companion plugins, WP rocket, Pageloader, WP rocket footer JS, and Rocket ASYN CSS… upon doing so I get the following error which breaks the website:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_add_inline_script() in /nas/content/staging/threeriversrst/wp-content/plugins/rocket-async-css/includes/preloaders/class-rocket-async-css-the-preloader.php on line 69

    When I deactivate the Rocket ASYNC CSS the error goes away.
    the site is installed on wp engine, and we’re looking at the staging site over here:
    https://threeriversrst.staging.wpengine.com/

    Hello, please update your wordpress. My plugins are listed at a minimum version of 4.5 due to when the function was introduced. This is not a bug with them. You should always be on the latest software version for security too.
