Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/proko/public_html/wp-blog-

  • I decided to upgrade my WordPress and not knowing too much about the process I received the following message in the process.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp() in /home/proko/public_html/wp-blog-header.php on line 14

    I’ve seen some other posts from others having the same trouble, but I can’t seem to figure out the instructions as I do not understand php and what that means to delete it from the server. Can anyone help?

  • Try:
    – switching to the Twenty Eleven theme by renaming your current theme’s folder in wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    – re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder – from a fresh download of WordPress.
