Fatal error: Call to undefined function phpdefine

Just installed a new theme and got this error when
I tried to activate it:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function phpdefine() in /home/******/public_html/RE/wp-content/themes/Customized_Real_Estate_Theme/Customized_Real_Estate_Theme/libs/constants/constants.php on line 1

when I checked the “constants”…
this is what it reads:
<?php
define(‘GLOBAL_NO_VALUE’, ‘not set’);
?>

I cannot find any info on what that should
read?
