Fatal Error call to undefined function . . . Help!

  • I was cheerfully working away on modifying my template, when the following error message came up:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function php_e() in /home/fr/fre/freshwatercove.com/public/www/news/wp-content/themes/azul/index.php on line 73

    I’ve tried removing the entire theme, but the problem still remains. The host support tell me that there’s nothing unusual at their end. Can anybody explain to me what is going on here?
