Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header()…..on line 3

  • Installing WP for the first time. Decided to upgrade immediately.
    None of my themes will display.

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_header() in /home/content/l/i/t/myblogacct/html/index.php on line 3

    Opened WP header.php and all that is displayed is: (this (>) sign with an underscore directly beneath it)

    Please help.

    Can someone supply me with the code for header.php in the WP 2.5.1 upgrade?

    Fatal error: Call to undefined function usually means you are missing a file or files. Download WP and move whatever file you want to. The code is all there.
