Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_avatar_url() in pluggable.php

  • Hi!

    I dont know if you can help me. My web gives this error: “Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_avatar_url() in /homepages/20/d384035751/htdocs/serviciosfunebres/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 2221”

    And I cant understand whats wrong, because I have exactly the same pluggable file in other webs and it does not give me any problem.

    Do you know which could be the problem?

  • Probably a theme issue – what theme is running on this site? And what if you manually deactivate that theme by renaming it on the server?

    My dashboard is completely gone, the only thing that I can see is the error message, no matter what menu item I choose. My admin dashboard is useless.

    Same is happening for me…I am desperate! and now seeing that after 5 days there’s no one giving an answer or tip to solve this makes me feel hopeless :(:(

    I got the same error on a local copy of a site I’m working on.

    I completely deleted wordpress files except wp-content and wp-config folder (wp-admin, wp-includes, .php files in the root etc.). I replaced them with the fresh ones and it’s working again. Hope this helps.
