Fatal Error: Call to undefiined function
-
Hi there
thankks for taking the time to look at this.I have installed WordPress at my hosting centre (powweb.com) and now when I try to publish my first post, I get:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: the_permalink() in /www/f/fairfield/htdocs/blog/wp-admin/edit.php on line 205
in the “manage” tab of the main admin page. When I click on this link I receive another error.and other errors like it when I try to use almost any functions. It seemed to install ok, and has successfully created database tables. I can log in to the admin pages.
For example, when I go to look at what should be the front page at http:thorpes.org/blog/ I get Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_feed_link() in /www/f/fairfield/htdocs/blog/wp-includes/template-functions-general.php on line 87
Does this sound familiar? IS it possible some of the files did not install correctly? When I check the line numbers of the php files mentioned in the errors, I’m not sure what to look for…
