Fatal error: Call to a member function is_main_query() on a non-object

  • Hello,

    Today while I tried to login into WordPress dashboard, I saw below error in browser:
    Fatal error: Call to a member function is_main_query() on a non-object in /home/user/public_html/plugins/theme-my-login/includes/class-theme-my-login.php on line 264

    Can anyone please suggest how to fix this and why I am suddenly getting such error?

    It seems that the 6.4.9 update fixes the error. Thank you Jeff!

    So! my sites are down as of 5 hours ago, and the version 6.4.9, which is responsible for this is also the fix?

    What I had to do ssh into plugins folder, and delete the folder named theme-my-login and then refresh the site to get it to start working again. After that, just reinstall the plugin and it should be fine.

    Sorry about that. 6.4.9 was released shortly after this was discovered to fix it.
