Fatal error: Call to a member function get_average_rating() on null in C:\xampp\

  • Please help! I was trying to add a WooCommerce product carousel.. I added some code to functions.php and when it didn’t work I deleted the code I had added and updated the file. Then a minute later I got this message:

    Fatal error: Call to a member function get_average_rating() on null in C:\xampp\htdocs\wordpress_2\wp-content\plugins\woo-product-carousel\inc\shortcodes.php on line 84

    Now I can’t even get to the Dashboard… everything I click on sends me to a page with that error message. I went to the file that the error points to (shortcodes.php, line 84) and I can see what it’s referring to, but I don’t know what I’m supposed to do to fix it!

    try deleting/renaming “woo-product-carousel” plugin using FTP/ SFTP , or your web-host’s cPanel or whatever file management application your host provides (no Dashboard access required).
