Fatal Error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed

  • My mothers site is down, she finally got into her dashboard. I’m trying to help remotely – Can connect to her computer and take control.

    The error is: Fatal error: Call-time pass-by-reference has been removed in /home/rubydeer/rubystandingdeer.com/wp-content/plugins/googletranslate/googletranslate.php on line 44

    Any idea how I can fix this? I know little to nothing about php and wordpress, but I learn fast.

    Figured it out. The new wordpress update caused allot of stuff to break. Reverted it back to the previous version for the time being.
