I have received this message following the installation of a different theme. I tried to delete it and received the same message. I don’t know if it is because of the theme, or a plugin (I only moved to .org yesterday so have installed quite a lot of plug ins and themes within the last 15 hours, however all was fine until 2 hours ago).

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare optionsframework_init() (previously declared in /var/sites/b/bigtroubleinlittlenappies.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/options-framework/options-framework.php:32) in /var/sites/b/bigtroubleinlittlenappies.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/hathor/admin/options-framework.php on line 57

I am now unable to even log in to remove any themes or plugins, can anyone help at all? Very worried.

    Thank you.

  • Hello!

Just replied to your other thread too ??

Please log in to your server with your Ftp software, and go to the folder wp-content and inside that the plugins folder. Inside that folder, there is a folder for every plugin You have currently activated on your site. Please rename the options-framework folder to something like options-framework-backup, this way WordPress won’t find the plugin files and it will automatically deactivate the plugin. This should solve the issue. If you need any help or clarification related to this, just drop a line and I am happy to assist ??

    Cheers,

Hi, thanks so much for your help (and on my theme post too). I have contacted my host for instructions on the FTP software, just waiting to hear back as I’ve yet to use it / know how to access it.

Thanks for the advice on the plugin – I thought it might have been a new theme I had installed to try – hathor – but will follow your advice as well as trying to deactivate the above theme too.

Can I ask, does this mean that the installed software from this plugin is faulty? Just want to try and ensure it doesn’t happen again, if it is something that I’ve done to cause it.

    Thanks again,
    Yvette

Please don’t post the same question in more than once place…it makes it much harder for volunteers here to help you.
