I was getting a fatal error and was unable to get to the WordPress admin after installing 5.5.0.

There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.

After removing 5.5.o and installing the previous version the error stopped and I was able to get into the Admin and Stripe is working again.

It looks like there is a bug in 5.5.0.

It looks like there is a bug in 5.5.0.

Thanks for reporting a possible bug. I’d like to understand more about your setup so that we can try and replicate this issue.

Could you please send me a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”.

Once you’ve done that, you can paste the text in https://gist.github.com/ and feel free to change/remove your site URL in the report for privacy reasons.

Once you do that, you can paste the Gist link here in your reply.

You should be able to submit a ticket directly to us and we could get a bit more information to help troubleshoot what might be going on. You can open that ticket that puts you in touch with us by choosing Stripe in the form here: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/?form=ticket

Let us know once either of you’ve done that. We can then find the ticket and investigate further to see what could be causing this error. Thanks!
