    Hello together

I would like to update WordPress from 3.01 to 3.6 and befor this I need to backup WordPress with WordPress Backup to Dropbox.

I installed WordPress Backup to Dropbox and linked with Dropbox, everything fine.

Then I tried to do the settings in WordPress Backup to Dropbox and I got the follwing error message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 262144 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4296 bytes) in /home/haeberl1/public_html/adoniabrasil/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-backup-to-dropbox/Classes/class-file-list.php on line 139

What can I do to run WordPress Backup to Dropbox…?

    Hi Mikey

Thanks for the quick respons… I realy would like to use your software
with the different sites i am administrating…

    To your question..:
It is a small blog with some 15 plugins and about 10 pages and 25 blog entries… I have erased about 700 spam comments and 10 inactiv plugins but no change. Always the same fatal error with the same number of memory missing:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 262144 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 4296 bytes) in /home/haeberl1/public_html/adoniabrasil/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-backup-to-dropbox/Classes/class-file-list.php
    on line 139

Dont know whats wrong. Thank you for your help.

I also excluded all files in cgi-bin and wp-admin and still the same fatal error…

    Gday mate,

The file list uses PHP’s Recursive directory iterator that iterates over your filesystem to work out what you have excluded.

You have a decent amount of memory so I am guessing there is either a memory leak in PHP somewhere or the iterator is digging too deep into the filesystem.

    What is your PHP version?
Do you have any cache or logging plugins that could generate lot’s of files?

    Cheers,
    Mikey
