    Did you manage to fix this? This happens when your WordPress is consuming too much memory. Please check your other plugins too, maybe there is one that is very heavy. MaxButtons in general needs very little in general.

    Ah ha!
    Plugin was causing it. I tried increasing the limit but that didn’t work.
    Thanks for the suggestion Bas. It was gravity forms…. It was all working fine until I moved the site live. Then I started to see the error. Now I’m using a different form plugin and it works like a charm!

    Good you managed to figure it out. Always try to keep the amount of plugins as low as possible. This kind of problem is usually a result of too many plugins, some maybe not optimized well. We always take extra effort to keep the memory footprint as low as possible.
