Fatal error: Allowed memory size……..

  • I’m not sure the exact time this started as it was working fine originally but I have recently upgraded to WP 3.8 and now just when I edit an existing text widget or try to add one:

    Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 71 bytes) in /xxxxx/yyyyyyy/public_html/wp-includes/meta.php on line 578

    The existing text widgets display OK on the site, this just shows in the widget editor in the admin CP
