HELP!!!!! Just updated and FATAL ERROR. the same as above. I had to drag the old file from my local setup, which I had not updated yet, to the online server just to get the site running again.

We have confirmed this issue and are working on an update to fix this. We’ll post more information as we have it.

Do we uninstall it? Deactivate it?

Out of curiosity, what version of PHP are you running?

I just upgraded to, I think, 2.3.13.1 (I can’t check) and am now getting the error. It’s also preventing me from getting into admin to deactivate or upgrade the plugin.

a) You should open your own thread (https://github.com/semperfiwebdesign/all-in-one-seo-pack/issues/new a Github issue is even better).
b) We need confirmation of the version number, otherwise there’s literally nothing we can do.
c) We also need the exact error message.

BTW, everyone who had this issue… this only affect people running old outdated versions of PHP (between 5-10 years old).
Ask your hosting company to upgrade your PHP to a modern version, like 7. If they won’t you should choose a different hosting company who won’t run outdated software.

I also couldn’t get into my admin login because of the error.

I went into my file manager and simply renamed the all-in-one-seo-pack folder to all-in-one-seo-pack2 and then renamed it back to all-in-one-seo-pack.

That fixed it.
