I received an email with this:
“Since WordPress 5.2 there is a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email. In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Search Regex.”

This was after each of the sites on which it was installed was updated to wordpress 5.9.1.

I couldn’t login to disable/delete the plugin, so I had to use ftp to rename the directory, then I could login and delete it.

To be clear, the error wasn’t generated by using it.

I hope it gets fixed, as I like it better than other plugins I had used to search the database.
