    Hello,

    I just received this email after WordPress updated my plugins :

    An E_ERROR type error occurred on line 283 of the file /var/www/html/mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/wpforms.php.
    Error message: Uncaught Error: Failed opening required ‘/var/www/html/mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/src/WPForms.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/share/php’) in /var/www/html/mywebsite/wp-content/plugins/wpforms-lite/wpforms.php:283
    Stack trace: 0 /var/www/html/mywebsite/wp-settings.php(473): include_once() 1 /var/www/html/mywebsite/wp-config.php(136): require_once(‘…’) 2 /var/www/html/mywebsite/wp-load.php(50): require_once(‘…’) 3 /var/www/html/mywebsite/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php(22): require_once(‘…’) 4 {main}
    thrown

    WordPress version 6.4.2
    Active theme: Avada Child (version 1.0.0)
    Current plugin: WPForms Lite (version 1.8.6.2)
    PHP version 8.1.2-1ubuntu2.14

    How could I fix it please ?

    Thanks for reaching out and sorry for the trouble there!

    I’ve just tried to reproduce this issue on my end but I was unsuccessful. Could you please confirm if you can still reproduce this issue when you perform a fresh install of the plugin by deleting the current version and re-installing it from the www.remarpro.com repository?

    Thanks for the answer. Can you tell which tables I should export before remove the plugin to avoid data loss ?

    Hi @wordp4ln,

    Thanks for the following up question!

    To reinstall WPForms without losing any data, you just need to go to WPForms ? Settings ? Misc, and confirm that the “Uninstall WPForms” option is toggled OFF (screenshot).

    After confirming that option is OFF, you just need to reinstall WPForms, and all of your forms will be there when you finished the process.

    It looks like there might be a conflict between the forms and the site theme or another plugin. To troubleshoot this, please try the steps described in our detailed guide on how to test for plugin/theme conflicts.
