please help me i have the same problem….

Hi i have the same problem after upgrading a plugin. I removed the plugin from the files in filezilla. But my site is still not running.. I have the swedishwp installed and i wanted to upgrade Rickard\UTCW\Widget’ ore mtphr widget. htt://www.speedwaybloggen.se

What I did is, just remove the plugin then re-installed the earlier version 2.1 and than it was working ok again.

Removing with filezilla, go to the wp-content/plugins folder, select the ultimate-tag-cloud-widget folder and press del

Then refresh your browser and install the plug-in with the older version.

    That worked for me.

    Regards, Fred

Happened to me too. Made my site completely unavailable. Had to manually delete the plugin folder to get it back!!

    thank you fredwier,…it’s work….

Hi. Would someone give me some advice please.
I have the same issue – I upgraded the tag cloud plugin and got the error message.
But I do not know what I am doing wrong because I cannot even go back to my dashboard to delete, un-install or undo the plugin upgrade.

Each time I try to go to my dashboard or even view my website, it just directs me back to the error message:
Fatal error: Class ‘Rickard\UTCW\Widget’ not found in /home/zarachiron/zarachiron.com/wp-includes/widgets.php on line 324

    Please help.

    Hello

I’ve got the same problem but my question is: at the moment I can’t access my pc where I use filezilla – now I’m at work and I can’t download filezilla… Can I use something else different filezilla to remove the last version of this plugin?
    Thanks for your help

Complete blog became ‘error 500’ after update from this widget.
Had to use the backup tot restore my blog …

You have to delete or rename the Ultimate plugin folder on your server. You can do this either with something like Filezilla, but you can also use Windows Explorer.

Just type, in the Windows Explorer address bar (not Internet Explorer, though you can use that too):

    ftp://nameofyourwebsite.com

When prompted, fill in your login details, navigate to wp-content/plugins and rename/delete ultimate-tag folder

Your website will now work and you can log in to your admin panel again

yap, same thing happened here. going back.

Sorry about this issue, was trying to modernize the plugin and accidentally removed php 5.2 compatibility. Trying to get 5.2 compatibility back broke it for the rest of users.

I’ve just updated to 2.2.2 which should resolve this issue.

    Thanks. It’s now working

fredwier, please mark the topic as resolved ??

    not working for me …
strange because the upgrade worked for another of my blogs
same server but result is different :

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class plugin in /web1/users/myserver/sites/mywebsite.com/docs/blog/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-tag-cloud-widget/src/Plugin.php on line 26

forget what I wrote in my previous post …
the update didn’t work on my other blog, same error.

Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class plugin in /web1/users/myserver/sites/mywebsite.com/docs/blog/wp-content/plugins/ultimate-tag-cloud-widget/src/Plugin.php on line 26
