Thanks for this fantastic plugin. I use it on most of my sites. I just upgraded WooCommerce and get the following error message:

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_settings() on a non-object in /home/hartseal/public_html/amanzimedia.com/bettasnax/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-install.php on line 291

I have deactivated all plugins and turned them back on, one by one. Is any one else having this issue?

    Cheers
    Ryan

Just received a notification to run the WooCommerce updater and solved the issue. Sorry for the false alarm.

Glad this resolved itself and thanks for posting the solution ??

I too am using the Woocommerce customizer plugin

I tried to update my woo commerce about an hour ago and now I am locked out of my site and it’s not working. I get this message when trying to login to my admin page….

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_settings() on a non-object in /home/content/60/11740360/html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce/includes/class-wc-install.php on line 291

I tried restoring the hosting with Godaddy to go back to before I updated the Woocommerce plugin, but the site is still down. Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Yep I can reproduce this, working on a fix now.

    Thanks.

Max, can you downgrade my version for me so the site will work again in the meantime?

Or do I need to do it through the File Manager on Godaddy?

    Hi!
Here’s what I did because I googled this crash and apparently many other people woke up to the same problem today. I went to the File Manager and ‘renamed’ (aka added a 1 at the end of the name) the woocommerce customizer plugin in the folder wp-content/plugins/. This automatically deactivated the plugin and everything was fine!
Hope this works for you…I went into such panic since TODAY I am launching my site and just had posted a ton of links directing to my site, which didn’t work of course for a few hours!!
    Good day everyone ??

Fix is live, please upgrade to 2.0.1 — sorry all!

@Duvin – renaming the woocommerce-customizer folder through the file manager on GoDaddy will work, just add any character after the end like woocommerce-customizer1, then log into your site, run the WC data updater and update to the latest version of the customizer.

I upgraded the plugin and had to downgrade as it malfunctioned.

I have up not upgraded woocommerce yet as I am waiting for my theme developer to give me the go ahead.

Is it safe to upgrade the plugin again once woocommerce is updated?

    Thanks!

Additionally, upon testing the plugin again – it is not working in Internet Explorer. I am replacing ‘choose options’ with ‘view product’ and when you push the button nothing happens?

@mccju786 – Yep, the 2.0.1 version is safe to install and use in both WooCommerce 2.1 and 2.2.

Do you mean nothing happens on the frontend when you’re viewing the product?

    Hi Max

Yes, if you select ‘View Product’ nothing happens, you are not deirected to the product page – you just stay on the page you were on.

    Thanks

Can you post a link to your product page?
