We are using both Free and Pro version of the plugin and today got this error

I have a similar problem on two different sites which couldn’t load. I have had to deactivate the plugin and now the sites are running – but without The Events Calendar.

this is a global disaster !! we need help TEC to get this mess sorted ASAP.

We have the same problem on one production and one development site for the same client. For the time being, we have had to restore the sites from backup and hold off updating anything. We are using the Pro version of the plugin, together with Event Tickets and Event Tickets Pro. The Pods Framework is also in use on both sites.

    WordPress version 6.2.2
Active theme: Page Builder Framework – Child (version 1.0.4)
Current plugin: Event Tickets (version 5.6.1.1)
    PHP version 7.4.33

Same issue on our site. Rolled everything back to versions from june 15 and now its working again – except warnings in events

@taimur345 @vaeksthimmerland @pennink @sannem we are aware, and our team is attempting to get a fix tested and shipped for this problem. One of our team members will ping you here later when that is the case.

I have temporarily solved it by uninstalling the newest version of the plugin and reinstalled version 6.1.1

I am also having the same issue on two sites running the free and the pro version of the plugin. I will reinstall an old version until it’s reported fixed.

Same issue here. The plugin updated crashed our website and corrupted the DB. Restoring from a BU now…

Pods 2.9.18 has just been released to address this from our side while the TEC team prepare their release to address this on older versions of Pods people may still be running. Thanks to @bordoni and the whole TEC team for helping us tackle this from both sides to deal with the changes in our shared libraries.

Thank you all for your patience here to everyone who reported this.

Same problem here – BUT NOT WITH PODS. We have a crash with TEC too, this is clearly a source error somewhere. Please fix this ASAP. It took our entire site down.

I’m having the same issue with my site, using Pro. I would like a ping when it’s fixed, also. Thanks!

[23-Jun-2023 15:19:45 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TEC\Common\lucatume\DI52\NotFoundException: nothing is bound to the ‘Tribe\Extensions\EventsControl\Hooks’ id and it’s not an existing or instantiable class. in /nas/content/live/msfaorg/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/vendor/vendor-prefixed/lucatume/di52/src/Builders/ClassBuilder.php:84
    Stack trace:

After this plugin updated, website down. Manually installed 6.1.1, got website wp-admin page running, then deleted the plugin altogether. Now my website mainpage renders, but is broken – many links not working, formatting wrong, shop pages in woocommerce not working, and wp-admin page once again doesn’t work. What else could this plugin have effected outside of its own plugins folder content?

Update: it ended up being due to shortcodes plugin being auto-disabled by wordpress recovery mode. All working again once I enabled the plugins that actually work and deleted the ones that make your site die a terrible death.

    Just reporting the Same issue.

Got TEC and EventBrite ticketing working again by rolling back with versions:
    Event Tickets 5.5.10
    TEC 6.1.1
The Events Calendar: Eventbrite Tickets 4.6.13

Still stuck in Recovery Mode in the Admin though, still working through what else is broken.
