After updating to WordPress 5.7, website resulted in 500 error.

Turned on DEBUG and received this message:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function is_plugin_active() in /wp-content/plugins/metrics-query/gadwp.php:273
    Stack trace:

Deactivated Metrics Query plugin and website no longer has 500 error.

I love that you forked this from before the WP Beginner team took over GADWP and would love to see this plugin continue to work! Hoping the above info helps to fix.

    Thanks!
