Hi, we’re having error after we update the plugin version to 4.2.0.

We’re currently using version 4.1.7 and it works,
However, version 4.2.0 always give the following error :

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp_generate_password() in /home/WEBNAME/web_root/wp-admin/includes/file.php:678

This means there is no function wp_generate_password found on the website but is being called in file.php

function wp_generate_password is a function defined in WordPress core. It can be found in the following location.

https://github.com/WordPress/WordPress/blob/master/wp-includes/pluggable.php#L2591

It is most likely that your wordpress setup has missing WordPress core files. Please manually update your WordPress core files using FTP, so that missing files get uploaded onto your web server.

Thank you for the answer!

I’ve just checked /wp-includes/pluggable.php and I can confirm that the file is actually exist. I also checked the source code, and the function is there.

Also, FYI : we have updated the WP core to the latest version (6.1.1) and there is no other error besides from this plugin.

Thank you for the advice. Unfortunately, both solutions are not working.
I still have fatal error on my website.
