Fatal error after updating to 13.0.6

    An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 78 of the file …/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/class-wp-statistics-welcome.php.

    Error message: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WP_Statistics_Updates’ not found in …/wp-content/plugins/wp-statistics/includes/classes/class-wp-statistics-welcome.php:78

    Hi,

    This error just occurs once when you want to update the plugin from v12.5.7 to the latest version, actually, the welcome page functionality has been removed after that version and the WordPress upgrade process just looking for that class (I don’t know exactly why) during the upgrade process.

    This is not break something or down the website, to safe update, you can upgrade the plugin manually.
