which version of WordPress are you using? Do you have a custom version of WordPress that might have removed a core function?

thanks for your help mate – appreciate it ??

    Wp 3.4.2

no custom WP = just plugins added..

ive fixed the issue by copying via my cPanel the facebook plugin 1.0.2 folder and first deleting the facebook 1.1.1 plugin folder from my daily backup – thanks wpbackup ??

FYI – i see many people are saying 1.1.1 is broken with 3.4.2

hello, i have a huge problem, i updated the facebook plugin and i have the same issue.
can’t login on the wordpress control panel anymore

Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_settings_error() in /home/arcticmo/public_html/wp-content/plugins/facebook/admin/settings-app.php on line 323

But i don’t have any skills for this kind of problem, this is why i installed wordpress in the first place because it is easy to use…
Could you maybe help me if i gave you my ftp passwords etc ? :/
    Thanks

Damien5767: which version of the plugin are you using? The function and the line number do not match up in the most recent plugin version, 1.1.11. As of 1.1.7 the code checks if the add_settings_error function exists before calling in a similar piece of the code.

You should be able to download the latest version of the plugin and upload via FTP to your server directory.
