After updating the plugin I get the following fatal error:

Warning: require_once(/srv/users/serverpilot/apps/mainsite/public/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-logging/inc/redux/redux-framework/ReduxCore/inc/class.redux_api.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/mainsite/public/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-logging/inc/redux/redux-framework/ReduxCore/framework.php on line 47

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required '/srv/users/serverpilot/apps/mainsite/public/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-logging/inc/redux/redux-framework/ReduxCore/inc/class.redux_api.php' (include_path='.:/opt/sp/php5.6/lib/php') in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/mainsite/public/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-logging/inc/redux/redux-framework/ReduxCore/framework.php on line 47

I removed and reinstalled the plugin and still get the same error.

  • Hello,

thank you very much for this quick feedback. There were some files missing in the plugin release. I don’t know how this could happen yet but I’ll investigate this.

    But now the important part:
I fixed the release, so 1.4.2 for normal updaters is available and stable.
If you are affected of a broken plugin version you have to uninstall the plugin and install it again.
If your backend is broken (white page) you have to login via FTP and delete wp-mail-logging from your wp-content/plugins directory.

I’m very sorry that this maybe killed your WordPress backend. Feel free to contact me if you have problems getting it up and running again.

    Kind Regards

No problem, thanks for the prompt response. Reinstalled however cannot activate. Here is the error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare WPML_noticePhpVersionWrong() (previously declared in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/mainsite/public/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-logging/wp-mail-logging.php:42) in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/mainsite/public/wp-content/plugins/wp-mail-loggingx/wp-mail-logging.php on line 42

Seems like you have renamed the directory wp-mail-logging to wp-mail-loggingx instead of deleting it. Actually the plugin is in there 2 times in parallel.

Ahh, this may be caused by me, give me a few minutes.
