    Hello,
Following the update of tutor to version 2.7.3, a critical error appears in wordpress when you want to go to the dashboard and several features are no longer accessible in the administration.

By consulting the logs, here is the PHP error:
Got error ‘PHP message: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function remove_cap() on null in /website/wp-content/plugins/tutor/classes/Course.php:221

I put back version 2.7.2 and everything works normally again.
Can you indicate the fix to add or a new version of the plugin.
    Thank you
    Lionel

  • I’m new to setting up my WP site with tutor. I just did the update and can access the dashboard just fine. You might have a plugin conflict? I don’t know. sorry.

But curious – how do you update, then put back your older version if there’s a mess up?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Thanks for the information. I have checked with the same PHP version but I didn’t face any issues. It seems like your website-specific or conflict issue.

    Thank you.
