• I have used your plugin for a year, no problems. It has worked like a charm.

Now, I am adding custom post types to the site. So, I bought the upgrade, but as soon as I add the serial number I get this error on the back end and front end of site when accessing a custom post type.

Fatal error: Cannot use object of type WP_Error as array in /Users/alee53/htdocs/Ideas/wp-content/plugins/wp-category-permalink/lib/post.php on line 102

I have disabled Yoast. I have commented out all filters on ‘post_type’ and ‘post_type_link’ in my functions.php file. Still I get the errors

I rolled back to version 2.8, and now I am not getting the fatal error, but I still cannot set the Primary Category on my custom post types. I have turned off all my plugins, except this one and WP Permastructure, which I use to add the /%category%/%postname%/ to my custom post types.

    Hello,
I am not sure why it will fail on this, Pro or not it goes through it :/ This is strange. I uploaded a new version of the plugin, can you update to it? It will not fix that issue but it will handle the error and write the appropriate error message in your PHP error logs. Then we will know a bit more about the real issue. Can you try?

Now I am getting this error in /wp-admin/. “An error occured in WP Category Permalink.” In my MAMP php log in am gettin “[20-Sep-2016 02:03:07 UTC] Invalid taxonomy.”. But I know the taxonomy is valid; it’s a term in the Category taxonomy.
