    That code only works for recen versions of PHP. Are you perhaps running an old version, like 5.2 or something?

    my current php version is 5.2.17

    so is the code compatible with the version i have? and if not, then can i do something about it? is there no other way to disable the ‘clear history’ option?

    and i just saw the latest version is 5.5.8. i think its time i ask my host to update the php version from their end. ??
