    Have two sites with this installed. One is fine after the update (so far).

    The other crashed fatally and had to go into recovery mode to deactivate the plugin. WP cannot delete the plugin so it says so I left deactivated.

    WordPress version 5.9
    Current theme: Enfold Child (version 1.0)
    Current plugin: Multiple Columns for Gravity Forms (version 4.0.1)
    PHP version 7.3.33
    ?

    Error Details
    =============
    An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 23 of the file /home/customer/www/medspa44.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/gf-form-multicolumn/includes/WH_GF_Multicolumn.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘string’ (T_STRING), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) or const (T_CONST)`

    Hi @manhattancenters,

    Thank you for your message, and our apologies for causing the site break when updating. It is likely an issue on sites using PHP 7.3.x and earlier.

    A new release has been made (4.0.2). Please can you upgrade your site to that version as this should resolve the issue.

    Please do not hesitate to contact us if you encounter any other problems.

    Many thanks for your time and patience in this matter.

    Kind regards.
