I have a site with this plugin on it and I’m getting emails from WordPress with the following:

“WordPress has a built-in feature that detects when a plugin or theme causes a fatal error on your site, and notifies you with this automated email.

In this case, WordPress caught an error with one of your plugins, Solid Security Basic.”

Okay, what does that mean, in simple English and how do I fix it? It’s on the latest version. The site took a huge hit (nearly 1000 attacks on 4th August) and I still get emails with attempts on Brute Force attempts even today, and this is the 8th. However, this email came in late on the 7th (UK time) so I’ve picked this up.

It sometimes gives me a fatal error and when I refresh, the page(s) load.

I’ve got the site copied over to a Document so if I need to, I can wipe it and start again, but I an hoping I do not have to do that.

  • Hi @xaralouise,

If I’m not mistaken the email usually includes more info (like an Error Details section). Can you share all of the info from the email?
