To install:

1. Download the zip file.
2. In the WordPress admin go to: Plugins > Add New and click the “Upload Plugin” button.
3. Click “Browse…” to select the zip file you downloaded and click the “Install Now” button.
4. Click the “Replace current with uploaded” button.

Please tell me the following values in your System Info (under the [PLUGIN SETTINGS] section):

reviews.excerpts…………………… : yes
reviews.excerpts_action…………….. :
reviews.excerpts_length…………….. : 100

I was able to reproduce the bug by changing the Excerpt length to zero and disabling the PHP Intl extension (since your version of PHP is missing the Intl extension)….But, I still don’t understand how the error could be happening if your Excerpt length is greater than zero (i.e. 100).

For some reason, any text that has a ", ', or - (a hyphen-minus symbol on it’s own) is not being shown. This is a strange one, I have never seen this problem before.

1) What happens if you disable excerpts in the Settings?

2) Have you tried the Basic Troubleshooting Steps on the help page? There might be a compatibility issue with your theme or another plugin which is causing this problem.
