Trying to install the plugin to test the functionality, however as soon as I activate within wp-admin, the site stops working.

Checking the debug log, I’m seeing:

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught TypeError: Return value of woogle_get_container() must implement interface Psr\Container\ContainerInterface, instance of Automattic\WooCommerce\GoogleListingsAndAds\Container returned in /**/**/**/**/public_html/wp-content/plugins/google-listings-and-ads/google-listings-and-ads.php:78

Anyone else come across this or know of a fix?

    Hi @ross87

Thanks for the message and sorry to hear of your difficulties.

This will almost certainly be a conflict – would you mind posting some of your system status information like PHP versions and extensions/plugins you use on the site? I might be able to narrow down things for you.

You could also try conflict testing to narrow down which plugin is conflicting – this is better done on a staging site if you have one.

We should have a release going out soon to try and avoid some of these conflicts better.

Hi Jason, many thanks for coming back to me. So oddly enough, I did create a staging site, and everything works great but on the live version, as soon as its activated, the site goes down with the previously mentioned error. PHP version etc the same — 7.4

In terms of plugins, we’re using the following:

    3D FlipBook : Dflip Lite
    ARI Stream Quiz
    Autoptimize
    Cache Enabler
Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights
    GrassBlade xAPI Companion
    H5P
Import and export users and customers
    Learndash
    MailPoet 3
    My Custom Functions
    Nav Menu Roles
    Popup anything on click
    PublishPress Capabilities
    Stackable – Gutenberg Blocks
    Themify – WooCommerce Product Filter
    Uncanny Toolkit for LearnDash
    User Registration
    WooCommerce
    WooCommerce MultiStep Checkout
    WooCommerce Shipping & Tax
    WooCommerce Stripe Gateway
    Wordfence Security
    Yoast Duplicate Post
    Yoast SEO Premium
    Yoast SEO: WooCommerce

All plugins are running their latest versions, along with WP itself running 5.7.2

    Thanks again, any thoughts appreciated.

    Hi @ross87

Hrmm that’s strange. And all activated on both sites?

I’ve tried a bunch of those (pretty much them all except for Learndash) and haven’t hit any issues.

Are you running the same PHP with “My Custom Functions” on both sites?

Hi Jason, yes, both live and staging are identical in terms of plugin versions and activations.

PHP is set to 7.4 on both the test site, and the live site.

Do you have nm approximate timeframe for when you’ll be releasing the next update to the plugin?

    Hi @ross87,

It would be great if we could take a closer look at both your live and staging sites to see what might be causing this.

Please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. You may need to create an account before you can access that page.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what’s already been discussed.

    Thanks!
