Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_installing() in /var/www/vhosts/112/263654/webspace/siteapps/WordPress-65441/htdocs/wp-content/plugins/wordpress-seo/wp-seo-main.php on line 452

  • This issue occurs when the plugin installation couldn’t complete correctly. The fatal error appears because the plugin couldn’t find one of the core files of Yoast SEO. In this case, can you please try manually installing the plugin via FTP by following the steps found here: How can I manually update/install my Yoast SEO plugin?

You can expect that your current Yoast SEO’s settings and SEO data will remain and work after the manual update/installation has been completed. Also, can you confirm if you are on the latest WordPress version 4.9.8?

    Closed. No further concerns.
