    Hi,

    1. What version of Php do you use?
    2. What is your version of WordPress?
    3. What are your installed plugins?

I think this is a php error. Try to turn on php errors and take a screenshot that you will see on your screen after the activation of the new version.

There is a good instruction on how to enable php errors:

    Hi, thanks for the answer
    I do not understand anything…
After updating the plugin admin area gave 500
After renaming the folder, I was able to log in to the admin area
Then returned the name of the folder and tried to activate the plugin – got an “The plugin was not activated, because it caused a fatal error.”.
After five attempts to activate – the plugin was activated.
In the Apache error log no error. Mystic…

    PHP 7.1
    WP 4.9.8
