Fatal Error

    Hello,

    I installed this plugin perfectly fine. But once I activate it, it gives me a fatal error(See full error line below).

    Any ideas on how to fix this. I’d really like to use this plugin but it breaks the whole site.

    This is what I’ve tried:
    -Installing BuddyPress and activating it. Then installing and activating BP Better Messages. (Result: Fatal Error)
    -Installing BuddyPress and not activating it. Then installing and activating BP Better Messages. (Result: Fatal Error)
    -Completely deleting the plugin folder from the website file manager. So there is no trace of the plugin on the site. Then reinstalling and activating. (Result: Fatal Error)

    I need some help!

    Hi there!

    This is usually hapenning when your PHP is outdated.

    Please make sure you are using at least PHP 5.6.

    Perfect. Updated to PHP 7.0 and it works now! Thanks!
