    I got the following error while installing the plugin

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_USE, expecting T_FUNCTION in /data/apache/home-test/wp-content/plugins/wp-phpmyadmin-extension/index.php on line 36

  • probably your server uses too old version of PHP. (what version is that?)
    go to better server/hosting. (or upgrate your php version to 5.3+).
