• “Fatal error: Using $this when not in object context in [..]/wp-content/plugins/wpsite-content-resharer/wpsite-content-resharer.php on line 447”

    This is what I see when I click the Content Resharer tab in the admin.

    Hi Carole – As of now, we have not had any reported issues with this plugin, nor any open issues.

    However, we’re happy to help. Unfortunately, since this is a public forum, we cannot ask you for login credentials to investigate, but you seem very tech savvy so maybe it’s unnecessary.

    While premium support is only reserved for our paying customers, you are welcome to send us an email at support [at] 99robots.com and we can certainly do our best to assist further. No guarantees as we’re not sure what’s odd about your site or its configuration.

    If you do send us a support ticket, please link back to this thread.

    Thank you

    Looks like this plugin just doesn’t work for me anymore.

    I’ve taken every step I can imagine to remove any lingering data from my database after deleting the plugin and it never fails to reinstall EXACTLY as broken as it was.

    This is infuriating and I’ve spent entirely too much time trying to fix it.

    Is there a similar plugin you can recommend?

    I’ve looked at a bunch and they either have insane monthly fees or don’t automatically tweet old posts (including custom post types).

    Thanks for your help, anyway.

    I’ve just come back to this plugin after it stopped working, and I’m also getting a fatal error message when trying to reshare now – beware, it’s a LONG error message:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Class ‘WPsiteTwitterReshare’ not found in /var/sites/m/midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpsite-content-resharer/include/reshare-accounts/reshare-twitter.php:4 Stack trace: #0 /var/sites/m/midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpsite-content-resharer/include/class-resharer-schedule-post.php(134): require() #1 /var/sites/m/midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpsite-content-resharer/include/class-resharer-schedule-post.php(157): WPsite_Twitter_Reshare_Post::wpsite_post_to_channel(Array, Array) #2 /var/sites/m/midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpsite-content-resharer/wpsite-content-resharer.php(629): WPsite_Twitter_Reshare_Post::wpsite_setup_all_reshares(Array, true) #3 /var/sites/m/midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(298): WPsite_Content_Resharer->page_settings(”) #4 /var/sites/m/midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(323): WP_Hook->apply in /var/sites/m/midlandsmaidens-escorts.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/wpsite-content-resharer/include/reshare-accounts/reshare-twitter.php on line 4

    Running version 2.2.1 of Content Resharer.

    I’m running php7 on my website.
