    Hello,
    Thanks for your response.
However, I am not knowledgeable enough to deal with this as per Pam’s response.
Can anyone give me some help to get the site up and running please.
It has occurred immediately after the update.
    Thankyou
    Neil

Are you able to roll back the update? This would be the first thing to look into, once that’s done you could put up a copy somewhere else (in another folder on the server) and play with that (update/disable/enable plugins and/or themes to find out what breaks during the update).

    Thankyou for your help.
I went to the client’s service provider and they offered to roll back to pre-update and we are working again. They have a concern that the malfunction occurred because of one of the plugins being used on the site.
    Regards
    Neil
