Fatal Error

    I recently got the following error when i visited my site:
    Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_admin() in /home/blackwol/public_html/main/wp-admin/includes/comment.php on line 162

    I tried to fix this to no avail so as it was only partially complete, i decided to get the server wiped clean of the WP site and the DB and start again with a new download of WP.

    Now when i start the configuaration and get asked to create a wp-config.php file, when i click the button to go to the next step I’m still getting the same Fatal Error.

    Any ideas??

    Are you sure that you are uploading all WordPress files & folders and keeping the folder structure intact?

    Yes. I’m downloading WordPress as a zip file and uploading it into cPanel then extracting the zip file.

    Can you try extracting the folder from the zip and uploading the extracted folder instead?
