    Hi there,
Cannot understand this at all, I have a live website and recently updated to the latest version with no issues whatsoever. I also have a contingency site but when I updated to the latest version I got the white screen of death. I deactivated all the plugins through phypmyadmin in order to get back in. All plugins activated successfully apart from this one which remains deactivated. Every time I try to activate it, it fails with a fatal error but doesn’t tell me why. The only message I have been able to find within the admin is as follows.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function opinionstage_check_plugin_available() in wp-content\plugins\social-polls-by-opinionstage\opinionstage-polls.php on line 36

However what is weird is the polls are showing fine in the sidebar. I don’t know if I can just delete and re-install the plugin on the contingency site. Only problem is the delete issues a warning saying I will lose all the data and I am not sure if I can go ahead without losing the polls and data on the live site. Cannot understand why it is triggering a fatal error when it is perfectly fine on the live site.

    Can you help please.

    Kind regards

    KatieKat

Hi, i suggest you re-install the plugin. When you delete it you won’t lose any polls data. The only thing you will need to do is to re-configure in the WP OpinionStage admin page the placements you are using (e.g enable the sidebar widget and set the title again). All other embedded content will work just fine.

Thank you, the re-install worked fine and everything back to normal. Not sure what happened and a bit bizarre because it’s always been fine before.

Anyway great support as always and have marked this as resolved.

    Kind Regards
