Fatal Error

  • Please help me ASAP with Fatal error: Cannot call overloaded function for non-object in /home/content/p3pnexwpnas04_data01/34/2994634/html/wp-includes/capabilities.php on line 424

    It keeps happening out of nowhere then gets back to ”normal” after a few hours. This started happening yesterday after I installed the theme. The WP admin panel becomes inaccessible and so is the website. It triggers when I try to customize the theme.

  • GoDaddy hosting, right? Make sure the site is running PHP 5.5, as described in this older topic (this is apparently a familiar issue with GoDaddy hosting).

    Yes, GoDaddy hosting. They are running version 5.5 so I don’t quite understand where this is coming from. I called them, we talked for at least an hour and they couldn’t see why either. They made some changes, not sure if it would change anything, and so far I haven’t seen the error again – but it’s too early to tell.

    Either way I still have no idea what causes/caused this
