• Getting the following error on the site https://makewoodenlures.com/

Fatal error: Call to undefined function is_blog_installed() in /home/makewood/public_html/wp-includes/load.php on line 532

Warning: call_user_func_array() expects parameter 1 to be a valid callback, function ‘wp_ob_end_flush_all’ not found or invalid function name in /home/makewood/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 524

I’ve been into cpanel and tried replacing the core file load.php with a fresh version…. no luck.

Any advice? Please go easy, I’m not a coder ??

    Thanks Tara,

Just went to upload a new wp-config.php with debug enabled and I noticed something very strange….. wp-config.php was an empty file, no content.

It’s strange because yesterday I downloaded and saved wp-config to my hard drive so I have an off-server copy as a precaution. Then I refreshed all wp core files, except wp-config and wp-content.

Later I noticed that wp-config.php on the server was 0kb. I thought that was strange because I knew I hadn’t overwritten it when I refreshed the core files. Anyway, uploaded it from the copy on my hard drive, but the site was still white screen after upload.

Just now I went to upload an edited version of wp-config.php with debug enabled. I again found the wp-config.php file on the server was 0kb. I know yesterday it contained data….. what’s going on?

    Seems very strange!

Obviously something is deleting the content of your wp-config.php.

It’s not the WP core behavior.

So it has to be something else – plugins, theme, etc.

I know you deactivated all plugins.

But have you RESET the plugin folder? If not, using FTP change the name of “plugins” directory to “pluginsHOLD as follows:

    /wp-content/pluginsHOLD/
