Fatal error

  • when i was installing wp 1.2 mingus to server, en error came in like this:
    Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in
    /home/xxxxxxx/subdomain/blog.xxxxxx.net/wp-admin/install.php on
    line 52
    here is the 52nd line:
    $wpdb->hide_errors();
    what should i do?

  • Try deleting just the files in /wp-admin, and re-uploading them.
    Check also that your ftp client is actually uploading everything you tell it to – sometimes they don’t.

    I had a similar problem, but only because my FTP client wasn’t uploading all the files. I then got Leech FTP, where I can resubmit the files that do not upload very easily.
