XML Sitemap – FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate

  • In trying to follow the installation / set-up directions, I get the following error message when I open the “XML-Sitemap” tab under “Settings” in the “Admin Dashboard.”

    FATAL: emalloc(): Unable to allocate 1919906914 bytes

    In my initial post, perhaps I should have asked if 1919906914 bytes is a legitimate amount of space necessary to install / set-up the XML Sitemap plugin?

    Unbelievable… 10 at a time, I have read through 600+ forum headers (out of a little over 900), opening and reading any / all posts that might be applicable. And, I cannot find one single instance where someone else has been confronted with this same issue.
