Fatal Crash after plugin update

  • I am unable to log in to the admin site or display the home page. All I am getting are these messages:

    Warning: include_once(/home/content/s/a/m/samdobrow/html/samdobrow/blog/wp-content/plugins/page-flip-image-gallery/functions.class.php) [function.include-once]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/s/a/m/samdobrow/html/samdobrow/blog/wp-content/plugins/page-flip-image-gallery/pageFlip.class.php on line 104

    Can someone guide me on how to get into the admin panel to reverse the update that killed my installation?

  • I had the same thing happen, the plugin page-flip-image-gallery is not compatible. I had a similar problem, the only thing I could do to fix it was FTP into my site and manually delete the folder for the plugin, so for you it would be: /home/content/s/a/m/samdobrow/html/samdobrow/blog/wp-content/plugins/page-flip-image-gallery

    Once you do that, WP should come back up. Go back into your dashboard, then plugins. You will get a notice saying the plugin folder is missing and is being removed from the list.

    You can re-add the folder, but do not enable it, just wait for an update.

    that should at least get you up and running.
