Faster image upload

    Hello, I’m wondering if it’s possible to increase the upload speed of the product images. One option would be to compress the image before upload, but I can’t suggest that when most of the vendors aren’t tech savvies and they can’t change the quality of their phone cameras. Is there a filter or hook I can use to reduce the upload speed?

    Dokan uses the default WordPress image upload feature and I believe by default WordPress does not compress any images. It allows to upload images will full size and then generate different sizes.

    What you are expecting is found in large sites like Facebook, Twitter that uses this compression so that they can accommodate all these trillions of images. This is not something that you can expect easily implemented with WordPress and Dokan. It is better to educate vendors to upload smaller images and use online compressing tools like – https://tinyjpg.com/
