Fast Set Up But Plugin Fonts Are Slower to load than Googles Gstatic

I’ve read into it and I think I’m going to add an option to enable WebfontLoader: https://github.com/typekit/webfontloader

Not sure when I have time to work on it, though. I’ll keep you posted!

Please give v2.0.0 of OMGF a try! I’ve implemented an option to use Typekit’s Web Font Loader, which will load the fonts asynchronously i.e. non-render blocking!

Thanks for taking the time to take a look at this, but by enabling web font load, it actually doubled page size and didn’t speed anything up.

hmmm so maybe it’s just my awkward divi, Extra theme, it’s a headache of a theme with bad coding.

Think I’ll have to deactivate the plugin, thanks for trying to help out tho ??

I can’t reproduce this issue (the pagesize doubling after activating Web Font Loader). But I’m sorry to see you go ??

Hi Jake,

You need to remove them manually. I’m planning to add an uninstall script. Haven’t het, though.
