    Can the slug be changed?

Can whatever slug it is be set to hidden/invisible?
(I want to put some faq categories on pages behind login/security so having them all available at the post-type slug (which is accessible) is not good)

  • Hi!

Unfortunately, we can’t hide the slug from the URL of the page. However, you can disable the More button and prevent users to go further and see the slug.

    Thanks, have a nice day!

Hello @wdsupport and @fdittmar. I found this thread because I also wanted to customize the slug and was disappointed to see this answer so I just took it upon myself to update the plugin to add support for a custom slug.

I have uploaded my changes to a bitbucket repository where I have made all my commits from the original source files so that you can easily see the differences.
    https://bitbucket.org/riverine/custom-version/src/master/

I have added a new setting in the settings page and have updated the code to utilize the new variable if it is set.

I have bumped the version number and documented the files I changed in the readme.txt.

Please consider introducing this in your next update or let me know why you will not so that I can fork the plugin to a new version that I can use on my websites.

    Cheers.

Excellent. May look at it again.
I used Arconix FAQ instead (which worked just fine).
