    Hi,
    When the Schema Support is enabled to the FAQ block, it generates schema after the first save. Once generated, if we update, add, remove FAQs, schema never changes.

    To re-produce this issue, follow these steps.
    1. create a new page.
    2. Insert an FAQ block. By default there are two FAQs.
    3. Save the page.
    4. View page on the frontend, copy the source code and validate schema using https://validator.schema.org/.
    5. Now, go back to the block editor, update the FAQs.
    6. Save the page.
    7. View page on the frontend, copy the source code and validate schema using https://validator.schema.org/.
    8. Notice that the schema is not updated.

    Thanks for getting in touch with us.

    I have tried to replicate the issue by following the steps mentioned in your query, but I am not able to see the issue. Here is the reference video: https://d.pr/v/tTGwFE

    Please check by regenerating the assets from spectra’s dashboard ( wp-admin > settings > spectra ) and ensure that you are using the latest version of the Spectra.

    Thanks @mohsinbsf for the video demonstration. I rechecked the issue on my end and on further analysis I found a way to reproduce the issue.

    TL;DR
    When we use multiple FAQ blocks( not multiple FAQ children ) in the page, the schema does not update.

    Well, we want to use a table tag inside the FAQ’s answer. The answer content is limited to text only in this block. So we added a custom HTML block and after that inserted a new instance of FAQ block. It looks something like this.
    — FAQ block by Spectra
    — Custom HTML block
    — FAQ block by Spectra

    To reproduce the issue, add two FAQ blocks on the page and validate the schema. No need to insert anything between these two blocks.

    I have tried to replicate the issue by following the steps mentioned in your previous reply but could not see any issue. I have also tried other combinations, but it is working fine.

    Thanks for looking into it.

    I created a fresh install only with the default theme and Spectra plugin. I couldn’t reproduce the issue. However, I am able to reproduce the issue on the production. We are using the BuddyBoss theme. I’m not sure whether it’s a conflict with the theme or any other plugin.

    I’ll investigate the conflict and create a separate ticket. For now, I’m happy to close this ticket.
